MECCHA CHAMELEON Crossplay Support
Everything you need to know about cross-platform multiplayer, console availability, and playing with friends.
MECCHA CHAMELEON is currently Windows PC only on Steam. There is no console version, no Mac native version, and no crossplay with other platforms. All multiplayer happens between Windows PC players using Steam.
Platform Availability (June 2026)
| Platform | Available? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Windows PC (Steam) | Yes | Official platform |
| macOS | No native | Possible via CrossOver / Parallels (unstable) |
| Linux (Steam Deck) | Yes | Runs via Proton, fully compatible |
| PlayStation 5 | No | No announcement |
| Xbox Series X|S | No | No announcement |
| Nintendo Switch | No | No announcement |
| Mobile (iOS / Android) | No | No announcement |
Will Crossplay Come?
There is no official crossplay feature today because MECCHA CHAMELEON only exists on one platform. Crossplay typically refers to playing between platforms (PS5 vs Xbox), which requires the game to be on multiple platforms. The developer lemorion_1224 has not announced any console ports.
How to Play with Friends on PC
- Add your friend on Steam
- Launch MECCHA CHAMELEON
- From the main menu, choose Host Game
- Set the lobby to Private (recommended for friend groups)
- Share the lobby code with your friend
- Your friend joins via the lobby browser or direct invite
Common Connection Issues
- Friend can't see your lobby: Make sure your lobby is set to Public or share the lobby code directly. Private lobbies require an invite.
- Connection drops mid-game: The host's network is the bottleneck. Use a wired connection and ask other players to avoid heavy upload activity.
- High ping: MECCHA CHAMELEON uses peer-to-peer hosting. There are no regional servers, so far-distance players will have higher ping.
For Mac Users
There is no native Mac version, but the game can be run through CrossOver or Parallels with mixed results. See our dedicated Mac guide for setup instructions.
